This jacket is amazing It is completely wind and waterproof Ive used it as a raincoat as well as my top layer for skiing and have never gotten a drop of water on me. Its still super comfortable and flexible though, especially in the back of the neck which is always a sensitive area for me. The cut of the jacket is greatsomewhat tailored but offering ample layering potential. Pit zips and powder skirt are great features for all mountain weather conditions. The only downside is that the zippers seem stubborn, stiff on the slide tracknot a smooth pull. I have not been in serious weather to test waterproofness since my past experience has been with classic Gortex. Will be an interesting comparison. I am pleased with the jacket and believe this is a huge upgrade from Stios past attempts at competing with the Patagoinia Primo or Arcteryx equivalent.
